PHP Developer – Symfony
What you will do
As a PHP Developer at Moonshiner you will be responsible for the development of eCommerce solutions. You will plan, develop, implement and test features and optimize the quality and performance of high-end applications.
We use Shopware 6 – an innovative eCommerce platform – based on PHP/Symfony for all our eCommerce projects.

Your key responsibilities will be
- Write clean, maintainable and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards
- Troubleshoot, debug and optimize application performance
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Keep up-to-date with emerging web technologies and industry trends to ensure our applications remain current and competitive
- Assist in the estimation and planning of development tasks and project timelines

The Skills you have
- 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development, with a strong focus on Symfony
- Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns
- Experience with RESTful APIs and API integrations
- Familiarity with Git
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality code
- Excellent communication skills in German or English
The skills we are additionally looking for
- Experience with Shopware 6
- Experience with PimCore
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment
- Knowledge of web security best practices and techniques
- Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and experience with database design and optimization
